Lisa Méndez, a Los Angeles native and proud Mexican-American is the CEO, founder, and jewelry designer of Le Monáe. Raised by an educator and a painter, she developed a sharp eye for aesthetics and an appreciation for the interplay of form, color, and texture. Captivated by the elegant curves found in both nature and manmade structures, Lisa combined her love of art, design, and architecture to create sculptural jewelry that is as timeless as it is innovative.

Dedicated to honing her expertise, Lisa studied at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), earning her prestigious Applied Jewelry Professional™ diploma. Her work reflects a seamless blend of technical skill and artistic inspiration, bringing a modern yet soulful approach to fine jewelry design.
